Rewiring Thoughts & Beliefs




I talk a lot about thoughts and beliefs.  Here is a brief explanation of both.


ThoughtVoluntary, Situational, Conscious.

These are generally conscious and in response to a situation or circumstance.  

It’s the sequence of words you “hear” in your head.  

“Awareness” - listen….”What did I just say in my head?”

“Clarity”   How does that make me feel?  How does it make me behave?

Here is the perfect opportunity to rewire your neural pathways and take steps to a new thought that is believable and that will serve you better.  This is called a turnaround and is extremely effective.


Belief:  Involuntary, Habitual, Subconscious.

Often subconscious - A thought that has been practiced and has become habitual. The stories you hold to be true about the world.  Are they yours or society’s, your family’s?

“Awareness” - identify the limiting belief.  Look for an area of disruption, unrest or incongruency.  There is probably a story behind it.  Listen and identify.

“Clarity”   How does it make me feel?  How does it make me behave?

This is also a perfect opportunity to rewire your neural pathways and take steps to a new belief that is believable and that will serve you better.  This is called a turnaround and is extremely effective.


When people take on beliefs (often not originally their own) about themselves that are untrue it can create inner conflict.  This can change how they think, feel and act because it is not in alignment with who they are or what they truly want.  

Some of these thoughts and beliefs are very old and quite possibly inherited or formed by social pressure.  You can learn to dissolve these untrue beliefs you have established over these years and get a chance to see the actual truths.  Some are easy and some are tough and that’s okay.  Taking these steps will assist you in the healing of these issues moving them from wounds to scars. I encourage you to start the personal work and let it unlock you.  Therapy can help with unresolved past issues and coaching can help you with your thoughts and beliefs moving forward.
